UCMAS Founder & CEO visits Canada
June 12, 2008 - Dr. Dino Wong (Founder & CEO) & Ms. Susan Tan (Executive Director), UCMAS Global Education Group visited Canada for a week to attend the 3rd National UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition held at the Ontario Science Centre on the 8th of June. Dr. Dino who visited a few centres in the GTA region of Ontario, was very pleased with the quality of the students developing in Canada. In his speech addressing more than 1500 parents, he called upon everyone to take the full benefit of this program which not only develops math skills but also builds a child's overall personality by enhancing memory, focus, alertness, and concentration power. Below is a brief profile of Dr. Dino Wong & Ms. Susan Tan:
PROF. DR. DINO WONG HOON WAN, FOUNDER & PRESIDENT, UCMAS GLOBAL EDUCATION GROUP Prof. Dr. Dino Wong is the Founder & President of UCMAS Global Education Group. He holds a doctorate degree in Mathematics from KurskSTU, Russia. He is presently also holding other academic roles which include the following: 1) Commissioner of External Liaison Council – Asian Chinese Celebrities Association; 2) International Commissioner Co-opt & Exchange Council – China Public Relation Association; 3) Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Consultant – The Federal of Chinese Associations Malaysia; 4) Council Member – The World Association of Abacus & Mental Arithmetic (WAAMA); 5) President – China U C MAS Global Group Limited; 6) Executive Chairman – U C MAS Middle East Limited. Under the excellent leadership of Dr. Dino Wong, U C MAS system of education has been successfully transferred to nearly 40 countries outside of Malaysia covering the five continents worldwide.
MS. SUSAN TAN AIK HWA, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, UCMAS GLOBAL EDUCATION GROUP Ms. Susan Tan holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from Southern Pacific University, USA and currently serves as the Executive Director of UCMAS Global Education Group. As executive director, Ms. Susan Tan is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company. Her strong organizational skills and broad experience, particularly in management expertise, leadership and public relations, enabled her to greatly assist Dr. Dino Wong in managing the daily operation of the company.
